The Cinequest Film Festival is over. In the end I got what I wanted--which was simply to get the film seen. A few people have gotten in touch with me after the showings and I'm very thankful for all of the support and kind words.

And after two long years with working on Oceania from start to finish, I finally feel "free" enough to be able to think about what I want to do next.

I've been working on a new story for a while now and things are finally starting to come together in the form of a screenplay [a local San Francisco story about the flight of birds and finding lost love]. I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to get it off the ground and make another film again, but I suppose getting it down on paper is the first important step.

And spring was moving in the air above...
